On September 12 the Georgian Association for General and Applied Microbiology (GAGAM) became a member of the Federation of European Microbiology Societies (FEMS). This fact opens for the GAGAM members new avenues for recognition of Georgian science in the international arena, new collaborations, exchange visits, conference support, etc.
